Today starts the same place we left off yesterday, RAIN. It rained all night and hard. For a little more excitement Mother Nature added low lying fog for us this morning. The caretaker told us last night it has been raining for the past 5 weeks . They are concerned about the lower river flooding and 2 major land slides that could close the road...
CLOSE THE ROAD! The good news is our rustic road side cabin is dry, no leaks and it's cozy,
once we killed all the mosquitoes and spiders. When is the last time you applied mosquito repellent before you went to bed, indoors? Luckily we abandoned camping last night...that would have been miserable. Today we have 227 miles to ride to Liard Hot Springs, my daughter wants to soak in the hot springs. Easy ride if the rain stops.
